About Lisa Kamolnick
After a nomadic military childhood, Lisa Kamolnick planted herself in northwest Florida’s sugar-white beach sands. During an inland detour among lakes and live oaks, she earned a B.A. in English from University of Florida. In 2007, she traced an ancestral trail and settled in northeast Tennessee highlands, where she now pursues various creative interests. A poet, writer and photographer, Lisa’s work explores human nature, the human condition, the natural world, and what lies between and beyond.
Her poems have appeared or are forthcoming in HeartWood Literary Magazine (Heartwood Poetry Prize semi-finalist); Women Speak, Vol. 7; Black Moon Magazine; Mildred Haun Review; Maya’s Micros; Tennessee Voices; and others. Her photography has appeared or is forthcoming in Wild Roof Journal and other venues. Some of her work may be purchased on Fine Art America.
She currently serves as Vice President of Communications for Poetry Society of Tennessee-Northeast and is also a member of Lost State Writers Guild and the Appalachian Authors Guild.
