Creative Interests

Lisa is currently fascinated with poetry. Her work explores human nature and the human condition, the natural world and what lies beyond. Her poetry has been published in Ink to Paper and is forthcoming in Tennessee Voices and Black Moon Magazine. She currently serves the Poetry Society of Tennessee’s Northeast chapter as Vice President of Communications.

Lisa incorporates photography and basic design knowledge into her creative projects. As a photographer, Lisa currently explores landscapes of Tennessee and Florida along with still life, indoors and out. Some of her work may be purchased on Fine Art America.

At Home in Nature

After a nomadic military childhood, Lisa Kamolnick planted herself in the sugar-white sands of northwest Florida beaches. In 2007, she retraced an ancestral trail north to Appalachia and now resides, writes and relaxes in northeast Tennessee highlands. She lives with her husband, a dog and two cats. She can often be found cooking or enjoying the region’s natural beauty, especially its mountains and lakes.
